Sienna Lately...

Looking over my blog I realized I have been a total slacker at posting about the latest Sienna news, so here is the last month in a nutshell! Sienna's personality seems to come out a little more everyday-- she is wild and crazy. She is always cracking up and getting so excited she tries to jump out of her own skin! She loves to clap and shake her up and down or side to side, she loves saying 'dada', she loves to lick everything from tile to mirrors to Brady's head, she is a total squealer, she loves to play with her dad's nose, she is crawling but loves her crazy army crawl the best, she loves to pull herself up on everything and get into as much as she can reach, she loves to feed herself- anyway she can with a masher, a dipper or picking up bite size pieces, she got too long for her infant carseat and graduated to her bigger one, she has 0 teeth, she is adorable but don't get too close or she will pull your hair or scratch you and if you are really lucky she will grab your cheeks, scream, and go at you with a big wet open-mouth kiss!

SaN diEgO

Sienna and I just got back from a short trip to San Diego. Omar had 2 tests and a final so we left him to study and finish up summer school so we could come home and have him back almost all to ourselves (minus that whole job thing :)). It was fun to be out of the heat for a few days and see family and a few friends! There is just never enough time to do everything we want to!

Sienna is a huge fan of the male species- no matter age or size she LOVES them and Noah was no exception! This is one of her famous open mouth screaming kisses- notice the face grab!

the last day at grandma and grandpa Fabian's Sienna was giving me the 'take me home to daddy' look!

Going to San Diego made me miss the place I considered home- the wonderful friends, the great weather and the beautiful surroundings but as amazing as SD is I was so excited to come HOME to where my heart truly is- with my sweet husband!

Daddy's Girl!

Oh my does this little girl have her daddy wrapped around her finger!!! The other night we could not get a babysitter for our weekly date night so Sienna tagged along in her pj's! We met Omar for dinner after work and on the way Sienna was being a little pill in the car- so I told O he got to drive home with her. I guess she started getting fussy on the drive home and O reached back to give her the binky (which she does not need help with- faker :)), as he went to pull his had away she grabbed it, so he drove the whole way home with his arm reaching into the backseat holding her hand. When we pulled in the garage I wondered why he was not getting out so I went over to the car and he whispered, "I think she is asleep, so I don't want to move and wake her up!" So I open the back door to find this- a wide awake daddy's girl!

My parents could not wait one more month to see Sienna, so they flew me and Si to Salt Lake even though they are flying us all up there next month! We left O in the heat studying his days away! Sienna and I had a great time with family and a few great friends! We enjoyed eating, shopping, relaxing, swimming, and just being with people we love! We missed Omar so much and we were so excited to see him at the airport- Sienna looked at him like- oh good you are back, now hold me!

We decided to have Maddie and Sienna's pictures taken and Sienna was horrified by the photographer so we were lucky to get a few good ones!

Yesterday I hit 20 weeks exactly on Sienna's 8 month birthday-- crazy huh?

4th of July Parade

I hope everyone had a fabulous fourth of July! We started the morning at our community parade with Andrea and James. It was cute to see all the kids with their decorated bikes, wagons, and scooters! After the parade we skipped the scout pancake breakfast for Omar's chocolate chip pancake breakfast- making this pregnant woman VERY happy!

Omar's BIG 25!

I am pretty sure Omar's birthday is one of the funnest days of the year- I told him next year for my birthday I want to pretend it is his birthday because it is so fun! My younger, cool husband turned the big 2-5 yesterday! We started the day with breakfast in bed (to wake him up for school), then he had to go to school, then we did his favorite- we took a nap while the baby did, then we headed to the pool, then more lounging, then the mall to spend some of his birthday cash, then he put his new skateboard wheels and bearings on and tried them out, then we finished the night off at Benihana- his favorite place for sushi- with our great friends Tim & Kristin! Wow what a day- and I actually remembered to take pictures!!!
