Utah here we come!

Well we have work to do!!! We are moving to Utah in 8 days-- WHAT?!? yes, you read that right! Last week Omar decided he wants to do the masters program (in architecture) and the U of U has a great program, so we thought it is now or never and Friday the decision was made! So you think I would start packing, ya packing for a quick, last-minute trip to San Diego before we have 2 kids to drag along and a farther distance to drive! We left after I got off work Friday and drove back Tuesday night. We had a great time seeing friends and family but it really hit me on the drive home what we were coming home to do! So do not expect much from me in the next little while because this prego mamma is going to be going nuts! Wish me luck!!! Oh here are a few pics from SD- I think pulled my camera out a total of 3 times- oops!

Okay this picture is funny for so many reasons! For any of you that know Rick know how uncomfortable he is holding a baby and for those of you that know Sienna know that a snuggle is a rare and short thing. So when Rick picked her up and looked a little rigid and she snuggled up and sat like this for like 5 minutes I could not stop laughing!

We went to O's brother Pablo's house to watch the Monday night Charger's game and for a little while Sienna sat there and read a book- we will take every moment like this we can get!

So Sienna decided she LOVES Alex and Tara's dog Snoopy! She normally cries around dogs but not Snoops, she was following him around to love him and "play with him"!

Okay this baby is crazy!!! Sienna gets a little more wild EVERY single day! She is a little sponge and picks up on everything! The other day she was pulling on my earring so I took it out of my ear and gave to her and she spent the next 20 minutes trying to get it in her ear. She loves to jam to music, click her tongue, do her baby sign, sing, say mama and dada, climb on things.. you name it! Omar's favorite is to make her stick out her tongue- especially with food on it, so now while you are eating she will stick her tongue out so you will stick yours out and then she will laugh at the food on your tongue! Church has been seriously entertaining lately- she jams to the hymns, sticks her mouthful of food out to the people around us, and a few Sundays ago she escaped her dad and made it rows ahead of us before someone grabbed her and handed her back! Last but not least she is loving destroying the house- sad it has begun- she will unload or undo anything she can from our baskets to recycling cans to the tp!

10 months old!

I already know I am going to be so in trouble with my great friend Micaela for posting these pics before she gets a chance to edit but I could not resist! We had all odds against us- the sun was going down, Sienna would not hold still for even a second and it was dinner time but Micaela never ceases to amaze- she got awesome pictures!!!

So Sienna is officially ten months-- sad my baby is growing up way too fast! We just set her on our scale and if it is right she weighs 21 lbs 4 oz! She is crazy- cruisin along furniture and starting to climb. She never holds still she is always off exploring anything she can get into- she is happy being free but will definitely make some noise when she is stuck in a basket or pinned in between things- I think she severely underestimates her size :).

So the closer Sienna gets to a year the bigger my belly gets and the smaller the number gets on my baby counter-- is it freaking anyone out but me that I have less than 80 days left? We better get on that name thing!!!

UtAh, YeS aGaiN!

So we have done it again, gone to Utah that is! For a summer with only one trip planned I feel like all I have done is packed and unpacked! We drove all night Thursday night and drove back all night Monday night- it was a short trip but worth it! We got to spend time with Grandpa Vawdrey and we spent some of the weekend in Midway, which was very relaxing!

Sienna is teething and on the way home she was a sad little munchkin, I was sitting in the back and looked up to these two holding hands--- how sweet are they?
