Grandma's Sugar Cookies!

My mom makes the BEST sugar cookies and as kids we always made holiday sugar cookies with my her. So this year we started the tradition with the kiddos!

Things have been crazy lately but now that I am getting e-mails from my father-in-law about being a blogging slacker, I am back and committed!!

Last weekend we kicked off October by going to Gardner Village for Wee Witches Weekend.

Sienna is getting so big she just marched around and checked it all out-- she would talk to the witches but did not want to be touched!

there was a cute little petting zoo, Sienna liked the caged pigs

she thought it was cool that Malachi was into petting but...


when she got up close she was the victim of a goat attack!! Poor girl is slightly wussy when it comes to live animals so this was traumatic for her :)

Our life is kind of like a circus so when the circus came to town why wouldn't we be there??

Malachi on the other hand was not! Yes that is him sitting on THE GROUND!! I know... I am a bad mom but it was the only thing that made him happy!!

Sienna would not cooperate for a picture so this is the best we got-- don't you love Sienna's acrobatic move to get off my shoulders??

the lighting is horrible in this picture but it had to be added purely because Sienna looks hilarious standing so seriously against the wall!
