learning to earn

As the kids are getting bigger they are really catching on to the concept of earning. They wanted to give eachother gifts for their birthdays so they earned presents for eachother. Now that it is Christmas they are earning Christmas presents. They started with their Primary teacher. She is an elderly widow and she got emotional when they took it to her, I am so glad I get to teach them these things and watch the blessings that follow!

I have been getting pretty inventive with the chores, this day they swept all the outside walks!

The Festival of Trees

We love to go the Festival of Trees every year, it is a Christmas wonderland!

When the kids saw this tree Malachi had to do his football pose!

Sienna was so happy to sit and watch the ballerinas!
Doesn't she look old?!?
Malachi enjoyed the dancers too but really wanted boy dancers!

after breakfast he got to go birthday shopping with grandma, he picked these awesome Hulk gloves!
that afternoon he wanted to make his cupcakes and he picked army guys to put on them!
then we went to Wreck it Ralph with his best friend Malakai
and to McDonalds (his choice) with the fam!

aren't they too cute?!

MY BABY IS 4!!!

What can I say?! This little boy is still my baby! Really 4 years?! Why does time with my kiddies have to go so fast??

Malachi is a funny, wild, all-boy, giving, hard working, loving little wrestler!! He is a momma's boy which could not make this mom more happy! He is always trying to make everyone laugh and is quite the tease to his big sister! He is always happy to help with cleaning up, laundry, dishes, yard work- really anything, he seems to truly enjoy working and is always proud of his accomplishments. The other day he raked and raked leaves with daddy and when they were done he rang the doorbell to show me what he helped do! He loves all things boy from superheroes to balls to tools but he is more than happy to watch princess shows or play barbies with his sister to make her happy. He is constantly switching Sienna seats at the dinner table or letting her say the prayer when it is his turn so that she won't be sad and he does it happily! He has the cutest little flat booty! He loves to dance and he loves me to take videos and pictures of him. He is very picky about his clothes and what he wants to wear. He wears hats almost everyday and is amazingly good at keeping track of them! He is a great eater and LOVES meat but he is pretty willing to try most things! Over the last few months he has fallen in love with coloring and cutting things out and could spend a good amount of time everyday doing those 2 things. He is my little sweatheart and makes being a mom so much fun!!
We love you MAC ATTACK!!

Wild Animal Day!

YES the kids we took were the WILD ANIMALS!!
Both the kids got to go with their best buddies, we met 'the other Malakai' and his mom and brother and we brought Claire!
the Malachi's being normal crazies!
oh these kids!

Sienna needed her turn for a rhino picture

they love the polar bear

these two LOVE eachother- it is sweet at such a young age to see best friends like these!

Sienna and her best buddy Makoa

our little tigers
the kids were standing watching the gorilla and he just marched up to the window and gave them the stare down for like 5 minutes.

after a minute I heard my Malachi saying DON'T LOOK AT MY FRIEND LIKE THAT!!

Person of the Week

Sienna got her turn to be Person of the Week in her class and once again we spent a lot of time making the poster just how SHE wanted it!!

So excited to leave for school!!

Making Room

We have been moving things around and making a lot of changes at our house to make room for this baby! A few bedrooms had to be moved and a lot of reorganization! The kids have been really cute so they caused a few cute pictures.

Sienna got a new bunk bed and before we got the mattress on the kids got creative with sunglass storage!

the first night Sienna slept in her bed she woke up and made her bed all on her
own and was so proud!

then little brother followed suit!
Stay tuned for pictures of the finished rooms!!
