I have been on the phone all night with friends from San Diego and so many of them are evacuated! Before I got married I lived in North County San Diego and almost everyone I know in that area is evacuated from their homes. Omar's family fortunately lives farther south and is out of the fire area. I am making this post to remind everyone to please keep the people in CA and all the fire fighters risking their lives in your prayers. This is so close to home!!! It really makes you think about what is most important and what is not replaceable! I asked O if we had to evacuate what he would take- he said YOU! That is the truth family is the MOST important!!!

I was just thinking if this was affecting anyone I knew! Then I read your post. I hope all of Omar's family is safe. Nice little reminder about what is really important in life---our family!
I was there Sat,Sun,Mon on back to back SAN layovers and it's horrible! You can barely breathe because the smoke smell is so strong and Monday morning it was snowing white ashes at the airport! So, so sad! Makes our problems so small compared to some. Thanks goodness your family out there is ok!
